The Victoria International Chalk Art Festival

September 14th – 15th, 2013

Welcome to Canada’s largest chalk festival! Our family friendly, free-to-attend festival is an amazing celebration of the unique medium of chalk art and presents an array of international and local chalk artists including many members of our First Nations community!

Come early and join in the building excitement in downtown Victoria led by a renowned international 3D chalk artist who will create a 20 by 20ft 3D chalk art painting at The Bay Centre’s lower level, centre court. The painting will begin mid-week and build to an exciting finish on our festival weekend!

Our weekend event stretches across our beautiful downtown, from Government Street to Centennial Square. We present some of the world’s finest chalk artists presenting 2D and 3D chalk paintings along with a music stage, food village, artisans, a much expanded kid’s chalkers area and much more!
